This shoot was a long time in the making.  My niece asked me LAST YEAR to photograph her as a birthday gift, and we just now got around to it.  I'm lucky she's so forgiving to dear old Auntie MJ, and I'm also lucky she's a beauty.  Her cutie patootie boyfriend decided to tag along because I also wanted to capture first love with my camera.  

Now before y'all start being silly, I will tell you a little story about a 16-year old MJ that met a cute 17-year old boy named Tim.  Tim and MJ took one look at each other and knew that was it.  They were meant to be.  Two years later they married.  First loves, high school sweethearts, those crazy kids everyone knew were headed for divorce in a matter of a few years.  Well 16 years later, those two kids are now old love birds that still get the warm and fuzzies for each other.  And I wish, Wish, WISH we had a beautiful gallery of images to document the beginning of our love story.

The moral of the story is, don't be afraid to capture your life in THIS moment, THIS EXACT MOMENT.  First steps, first teeth, first soccer game, first dance, first recital, first love.  You never regret the pictures taken, only the pictures missed.
