Sun was shining. Clouds were puffy. Birds were chirping. The stars aligned the day the I Family hung with me for a fun evening in Ann Arbor. We meandered through the streets, because, well...I'm a mom of two young boys myself so I know they like to be on the move. That's my motto when capturing gents: "just keep movin'" and it hasn't failed me yet.
Greyson and Liam were a riot to shoot! You'd never know little man Greyson was under the weather. He was nothing but smiles, pouty lips, and biker boy 'tude. Big brudder Liam is the runner. Zipping this way and that way, it's a good thing my ninja skills are strong or he would have been a blurr.
There's something to be said for a full session with your photographer. This was the first time meeting the I Family, and children in particular need a little warming up around new people. Not being rushed to shoot in a condensed time period is vital to an organic, fun, fresh and natural family shoot.
